May I introduce you to Mr. Spock! {He finally has a name!}
I also wanted to share a quick little sketch I did for Illustration Friday tonight…. the theme this week was "Cracked" ….. here's what came to mind for me:
It's dedicated to all the super hero mama's out there who tend to their children's hearts mending them up through hard times…
..cracked, but never broken..
I've been working hard on things here at home, completely cleaning out my studio is the biggest job, the rest is a lot of snuggling, swimming & reading with my son. ^_^ I've just missed him so much.. I dont know what it is… he's growing up so quickly.. too fast.. it's heart pulling & overflowing with excitement at once.. I'm so proud of him. I just can not believe he'll be done with 3rd grade soon… oh… I'd better stop or I'll turn to mush.
Well, what I was saying is that I'm going to be away from my blog for a teeny bit longer… I have missed checking in on all of your lives and look forward to catching up with you soon! Until then, enjoy these last days before summer and dont forget… dont ever forget how precious each one is. .. every giggle, every hug every question and want and yes, even those occasional eye rolls

you hit the nail on the head as to how i’ve been feeling lately. the kids got out of school on friday and my youngest just finished 2nd grade and with all the end of school goings on, i have been emotional and a little weepy thinking about her going into third grade next year. she is turning eight this week too! we just started summer break and i am going to try and savor every minute and have patience with them. thanks for your post – every bit is a blessing.
