Well, I’ve been working hard on getting things done for J’s little B-day bash coming up! I’m up to my ears in ‘sea life’ goodies! I will be making cupcakes for his class and cupcakes for his party along with a 2 layer 6 inch cake for the birthday boy! Sounded like a lot to me until I read that this amazing lady is going to bake 5 cakes and cupcakes this week! She makes my to do list feel a lot easier! I also threw together a baby shower invitation for a friend, she really wanted a monkey theme, so given the quick deadline, here’s what I came up with…

The colors are a little bit weaker in the proof than they are in the final product, and the little droplets are going to be glittered! The next invitation is for my little guys party! As you know it’s a ‘deep sea dive’ theme. I’m just emailing th invite’s out, so here’s what I’m sending:

Again, the colors are quite muted… I dont know why I loose the vibrance when I “Save for Web” — Anyway, it’s simple, but I love simple! I made a cake topper for him, it’s just a wooden “8″ that got covered in a super fine red glitter! I’ve got goodie bags to make and 12 inch sea horses to cover in glitter as well! *FUN!* I took some pictures of the cake topper…. and I dont know what I’ve got going on with the colors tonight b/c like everything else in this post, they’re off here too! It looks sort of mauve-ish, when really it’s nice bright red!
